Eee Pad Transformer Prime Teaser Page
Asus Chairman Jonney Shih announced the next generation of Eee Pad Transformer Android tablet’s called the Asus Transformer Prime. We already know a few things about this new tabular by Asus. One is that the Transformer Prime will be the first tablet with the quad-core Kal-El processor (Tegra 3). Second is that the new ultra thin and lightweight tablet will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
While Motorola stated that the Xoom will be the first tablet receiving the Android 4.0 update they did make it clear that it may not be the first to actually run Ice Cream Sandwich. While Ice Cream Sandwich has not been confirmed officially for the Transformer Prime everything points to it coming out of the box with it.
