HTC Desire HD Gingerbread Update

Orange a European wireless carrier has released an OTA update for the HTC Desire HD.  This update will roll out Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the Desire HD handsets.  If you are an Orange customer go get your update.

How to Update the HTC Desire HD:
Click settings -> about phone -> system updates, otherwise the OTA update will hit your phone shortly.

We had the pleasure of playing with a Desire HD recently and feel that its about identical to the Inspire 4G although AT&T takes a little longer to approve these updates than Orange apparently.
