If you have an HTC Flyer Tablet there has been some good buzz about the Honeycomb update this month. Flyer owners have been patiently waiting for the update to 3.2 for some time now and it looks like its already being pushed in France. This is the Flyer software update to version 3.55.405.1 and is about 210MB total. The update is being pushed OTA (over the air) via a WiFi connection. The update looks to only be for the 32GB Wifi and 3G version with no word on the 16GB WiFi version yet.
As far as we know the update is only in France although if you notice it in another country please let us know. We would also be interested in hearing about how the update goes and if you notice any issues.
I went to France early December and my Flyer got that update to 3.2. Unhappy now as WiFi is broken now and there is no way to get back to previous android. Will wait for HTC to fix it. Also useful screen area became narrower due to larger toolbars on top and bottom. Compared it to Samsung note, its screen is slightly smaller than its cover, and now look at HTC screen, I totally dont like it : small screen in a big box, widgets also look smaller in size……
