Lenovo has announced a new Tablet that keeps business users in mind called the ThinkPad. The Thinkpad Tablet is a dual-core tablet that looks like it will be able to standup against its more reasonably priced competition. This 10.1 inch tablet looks to be another high end tablet to compete with the Xoom and others in that range while focusing on the business professional.
Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Features:
- Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS
- 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor
- 10.1 inch Display
- 1 GB RAM
- 16GB – 64GB of Storage
- 2GB of Cloud storage
- 2MP front Camera, 5MP rear Camera
- HDMI and USB ports
From what little we can find on the Lenovo ThinkPad, it will be an August release with a price point around $499. This will keep it slightly over the competitions price range but still may prove to be a competitive tablet in the demographics they are targeting.
If you are interested in this tablet we will be keeping an eye on it and update accordingly. We can assume that those already owning a tablet wont switch over to the Lenovo ThinkPad but business class professionals requiring a high end device for presentations and travel may find it a great device worth grabbing at release.
