Samsung has mentioned a few times rather discretely that they would release a more affordable version of the Galaxy S 2. Now that time has come with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Z described as the little brother of the Galaxy S 2.

Known Features of the Samsung Galaxy Z:

4.2 inch display
1GHz processor (rumored to be NVIDIA Tegra 2)
Super Clear LCD
Android 2.3 Gingerbread
5.0 Megapixel Rear Camera

As more information on this device comes available we will keep you informed. Currently it doesn’t seem like a low cost alternative since its only released in Sweden and carries a $650 price tag when translated to USD. This being said it is Sweden which in many cases carries a higher price tag than the US.
