The Kidigi car mount will charge your Samsung Galaxy S4 while you are in the car and is structurally the most solid mount we have reviewed. You can mount the Kidigi unit to either your windshield or dash using one of two different methods (shown in the video below). There are a couple drawbacks if you are one that likes large cases but other than that its a pretty solid car mount.

The cradle is designed with a solid plastic that will hold up against harsh use even though we see no reason you should be rough on something that is rarely moved. The swivel on the mount allows for you to view your Galaxy S4 no matter where you are in the car so you can point it at a passenger or child to watch a show without having to move the mount itself. This also allows you to get the perfect angle for yourself when driving. When placing your phone in the cradle there is also a piece at the top that clicks down to hold the phone in place. The accessory is case friendly to an extent, meaning if you have a thin case you can take the insert out of the mount and use it with a case. We will mention and as seen in the video that larger more protective cases will not fit.

Next we look at the charging capability of the car mount and its pretty solid. The cradle itself plugs into your cigarette lighter so that you never need to touch it and there is a shorter cable coming from the mount that attaches to your Galaxy S4. This is once since there is no need to have a cable pulling on the phone while its sitting in the cradle and also allows you to permanently run the power if you wish to do so.
Another great feature of the cradle is the fact that you can take pictures and video since it has a cutout behind it for the camera to freely see through your windshield. I find myself picking up my phone to take a picture when driving or at a stoplight (which is probably a bad idea) and this allows me to do it without holding the phone. Also paired with the Galaxy S4’s capability to take pictures with voice commands makes it an awesome feature of the cradle.

Conclusion
We do have to say that this is by far the best cradle for your Galaxy S4 that we have seen to date. We used the mount for a few days and have nothing negative to say about it besides the fact that in our instance we have to remove the phone from out larger Acase for it to sit in the cradle without forcing it in.
