Those of you with a Droid RAZR or RAZR MAXX who have been patiently waiting for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will not have to wait much longer. Motorola Droid RAZR

All of you owners of the Motorola Droid RAZR can start looking for an update to the device. This update is not Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich so don’t get too excited, it does however fix quite a few bugs.

Droid RAZR Update Features:

Let us know if this fixes what is expected and what other bugs if any arise from the update.

Motorola has promised that they would be releasing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates to many of their devices and the Droid RAZR is one of them. There is no ETA from Motorola or Verizon on the official OTA (over the air update) although as you can see above the update is pretty sweet. Since there has been no ETA on the update to the RAZR we have see developers take on the challenge and create their own update to the device in the form of a custom ROM. The version see above is not publicly available yet but at least we can see the progress and know there will be a release in the near future.

It looks like a Spanish commercial seen above outs the release date of the Droid RAZR as November 11th officially. We found this video on AndroidGuys website and thank them for posting it. Its actually a pretty impressive video, while never really showing the device it doesn’t matter with all of the images and specs you can find online. Give it a look and let us know what you think.

Motorola Droid RAZR

In Germany Alan Mutricy announced that while the RAZR was designed for Android 2.3 Gingerbread that they are already working on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. While there was no set date stated there was a broad “Start of 2012″.

If the Motorola RAZR is the first device to receive the OTA (over the air) update to Ice Cream Sandwich it means that the Galaxy Nexus will have the spotlight for some time.
