We have talked about Google’s competition to Box.net and Dropbox called Google Drive and will allow you to start with a free 5GB. It has been announced that Google Drive will be released next week to Android, iOS, PC, and Mac. We have heard that it could be as soon as next Tuesday although no confirmation yet.

Google does beat out Dropbox’s 2GB with its 5GB free although Box.net seems to be the largest threat to Google Drive. We use both Dropbox and Box.net and love them both but with Google being able to integrate their remote storage system with their other services like Gmail and other Google services they do have an advantage.

We will go ahead and assume that Google Drive will not be your only source of online storage since these days 5GB is not enough for most people they will be a huge contender in the market. Let us know if you will be moving to Google Drive and how you like it if you do.
